USCMO – Come To The Hill!

The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) is excited to annouce the fourth annual National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., May 7th and 8th, 2018. Registration is now open until May 1, 2018. This two-day event is open to representatives of all national, state and local Muslim organizations and communities and expected to draw hundreds of Muslim delegates and activists from across the nation like in previous years.
The event is designed to connect national, regional and state Muslim organizations, and community members with their elected representatives in Congress. USCMO’S Advocacy day will focus on promoting a legislative agenda in support of equality and social justice issues that will benefit all Americans, regardless of faith or background.
Prior to the event, a series of online  training seminars will also be offered to registered participants on effective advocacy techniques and on the day’s advocacy issues.
Last years’ event on Capitol Hill took place in May of 2017 and was attended by more than 450 delegates from 30 states who met with some 230 congressional offices – one third of the House of Representatives and almost half of the Senate. We plan to make this year’s Advocacy Day even bigger and better.
Come and join us. Click the link below to register. Please donate and/or sponsor someone to attend the Advocacy Day.
