CAIR staff attended the national council meeting on November 15 to 16. They met fellow CAIR chapter staff and learned much about civil rights and other activities that are at the heart of what CAIR does.
There were 250 attendees at the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, VA, right outside Washington, DC where CAIR chapter members met with their elected representatives.
Some of the meetings were canceled by congressional representatives – Texas and Florida in particular, although the Minnesota reps, for instance, were not daunted by the snow.
