CAIR-Houston has faithfully served the Greater Houston community for more than 15 years. Since our inception in 2002, CAIR-Houston’s objective has never strayed from its core mission; To enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
As a non-profit civil rights organization, we educate and empower young Americans with the skills they need now, to make lasting differences in the future. CAIR-Houston teaches youth leadership, activism and service skills through our comprehensive internship program, developing professional skills and insight into the workings of a grassroots advocacy organization.
Whether full-time, part-time, college or even high school students, opportunities to apply for a CAIR-Houston internship are available throughout the year for all to apply. Interns can earn academic credit or community service hours, or simply enrich their experience and insight to advocacy and civil rights efforts.
We empower you to make the difference!
