(HOUSTON, TX 5/9/14) — On Tues., May 13, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Texas chapter will join leaders of the Houston faith-based community groups. The group will offer prayers for the Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram and for human trafficking victims worldwide. The news conference will take place at Maryknoll House, 2360 Rice Blvd., Houston, TX 77005.
CAIR-TX, a civil rights and advocacy organization, denounces the actions of Boko Haram and prays for the safe return of their kidnap victims.
