CAIR-Houston Joins Town Hall Meeting on Race Relations, Violence and Prevention

The American Latino Center for the Research, Education and Justice (ALCREJ) invited CAIR-Houston to partner with them and other social justice organizations in their efforts to bring peace and justice to the Houston-area community. On July 11 our Executive Director, Mustafaa Carroll, participated in the coalition’s first town hall meeting on race relations, violence and prevention. The purpose of these town hall meetings is to unite our communities in fighting violence, understanding each other better and staying informed of the challenges and solutions to bringing peace to our communities.

These town halls will be held on a quarterly basis going forward.  Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed on this coalition’s activities.
