CAIR Asks Muslims to Thank Those Challenging Islamophobia Using #MuslimsThank

CAIR today re-launched its social media hashtag campaign #MuslimsThank to show appreciation to media personalities, celebrities and political leaders who have come out in defense of Muslims and Islam in response to a rising tide of anti-Muslim bigotry and Islamophobia.

CAIR is asking online activists to participate in this campaign by tweeting and retweeting messages of thanks and creating their own as well.

Last year, CAIR launched its #MuslimsThank hashtag campaign in the week before Thanksgiving to help Muslims express gratitude for American ideals of diversity and equality and for constitutional protections of civil rights.

CAIR recommended sample tweets such as:
